Salt Lake City Women’s March: Photo Series

In Life Documentaries

The Salt Lake City Women’s march brought a large and diverse crowd of protesters into the Utah State Capitol rotunda, Jan. 23, 2017.

Women and men, adults and children, marched on the Utah State Capitol. The group trudged, en masse, and uphill, in the snow in a peaceful show of force. The goals of the marchers were as diverse as the participants. Pollution, women’s rights and education were just a few of the seemingly endless list of reformations in demand.

The march proved an exercise of the rights and privileges as defined in the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. The freedoms of speech, the press, assembly and petition were each in full swing.
